Automatic checks are weekly by default, and this script disables the checks completely.
Frequency to check for updates can be configured using Application preferences.Check for updates

- Values: 0 - Never, 1 - Once a day, 2 - Once a week (default), 3 - Once a month
This script should only be used by advanced users.
This script is not recommended for daily use as it breaks important functionality.
Consider creating a Time Machine backup before doing any changes.
