Overview

These logs area created by different tools that Visual Studio uses such as its launcher, installer or data collection agents.

Folders include VSFaultInfo ¹, VSFeedbackPerfWatsonData ², VSFeedbackCollector ², VSFeedbackVSRTCLogs ³, VSRemoteControl ^{4 5}, VSFeedbackIntelliCodeLogs ^{4 5}, VSTelem ^{6 7}, VSTelem.Out ⁶.

There are more log and cache data stored by Visual Studio, but not all of them come with privacy implications. These files can be useful for faster loading, so this script removes only the sensitive data stored instead of cleaning all the cache completely.
